County Commission and School Board District Lines Change
The Sumner County Commission and Board of Education district lines have changed with redistricting, which is done every 10 years. To view a map of the new district lines CLICK HERE
Provisional ballots offer Photo ID option
The law passed last year by the Tennessee State Legislature, effective January 1, 2012, requiring all voters to show state or federally issued photo IDs in order to vote provides an option for those who do not have an acceptable photo ID with them at the polls on Election Day or during Early Voting. Precincts moved for March 6, 2012 Election
Voters in three Sumner County precincts will vote at new locations beginning with the March 6, 2012 Election. Precincts affected include the Trinity, Merrol Hyde Magnet and Madison Creek locations. Voters who previously went to Trinity Baptist Church will now vote at Merrol Hyde Magnet School and those who previously went to Merrol Hyde Magnet will now vote at (George) Whitten Elementary. The Madison Creek polling location has moved from the Mansker Station Visitor's Center to the Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene. For more information and addresses CLICK HERE
